Hi!

Just a thought: a js-compressor would be very easy to integrate via a
model-class and a "Processed JS".

The "Processed JS" resource could collect the js-code from its child-nodes,
compress it using the minimizer via the model-class, and output the result.
All that would be needed is a js-minimizer that is implemented in java.

Regards from Vienna,

Richard

Betreff: [magnolia-user] Does a JS Minimize Plugin Exist

I am working on a front end that uses a lot of javascript. I was thinking it
would be cool if there was a magnolia plugin that on Activate for a JS or CSS
file would use a tool like YUI Compressor
(http://developer.yahoo.com/yui/compressor/) to optimize the contents.

I am wondering if something like this already exsits, and if not, how hard it
would be to create.
