However, this seems to be an additive process only (). E.g. if I extend stkSection and want to reduce the list of available paragraphs types in the mainArea, this does not work with this mechanism. While I can add new paragraph types, I cannot remove (or modify elements of) the inherited list. The description at http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/technical-guide/configuration- mechanisms.html seems to imply that this is the case for all collections/maps. In Maven there's a similar feature when merging configuration settings for plugins. If it contains a collection the behavior can be influenced by a special attribute "combine.children". Maybe something similar exists for Magnolia's configuration? Like an extends attribute one that can be used at a collection e.g. "combine" that can be set to "replace" or "inherit" ... - Jörg ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ---------------------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------------------------------------------ VPRO www.vpro.nl ------------------------------------------------------------------------ ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/home/community/mailing-lists.html To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
