Hello Jan,

And you are sure your browser is requesting "es" as a locale as well?

Hmmmm how can I check that? I've tried requesting the page in English and
German and the result is the same.

Try to configure also fallbackLocale to "es" and make sure that "es" is in
the list of supported locales by the site <your site>/i18n/locals

This is how the site is configured.

However the problem seems to be the defaultLocale configuration . when I set
up a site with defaultLocale in English, the nodes are created with the
single name, and when I change the language, then the name changes
(shortTitle in English, shortTitle_es in Spanish). This time, with the site
with defaultLocale in spanish, all the nodes where created with _es at the
end .

Thanks,

Leo

Hello,

I'm sure this has already been discussed, but I can't find what I'm doing
wrong .

Hi have a content node "fingerTabItems", with a collection inside:

                00

                               shortTitle_es

                               teaserAbstract_es

                               teaserTitle_es

                01

                               shortTitle_es

                               teaserAbstract_es

                               teaserTitle_es

etc .

The problem is that in the modelClass, when I try to access the value with
getNodeData, I have to specifiy "shortTitle_es", when I understood that it
should work with "shortTitle". I tried also with NodeDataUtil functions, but
every time I try to access the "shortTitle" nodeData, the value I get is
null and I have to specify ""shortTitle_es" to retrieve something. The
defaultLocale in the site is "es".

Am I doing something wrong?

Thank you very much,

Leo
