thats right but is it a feature or a bug? Breaks in URL aren't good in any way of this. You can add an Virtual URI Mapping to redirect this to an other letter.
I feel it's a bug somewhat. And it's not possible to use a virtualUri to catch these, because if you try debugging you'll see that the error of having a %2F in the url prevents the request from reaching the virtualUri filter (whatever virtualUri you may have defined).
I just discovered that is a default Tomcat behaviour, as stated here: http://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/tomcat-users/200711.mbox/%[email protected]%3E So I only have to clean my own links...
