Hey Thomas, Your assumption and method call is correct - not sure where Attila's idea comes from. It's definitely not correct, nor matching your expectations. You want the url entered by the user, whereas his suggestion will get you the node that Magnolia will render for that request, if any.
I'm suspecting you did not update your web.xml with the update to 4.4. That's most likely because our version handler [url=http://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/MAGNOLIA-3748]forgot to tell you[/url]. Since 4.4, the Magnolia filter must be mapped for the INCLUDE [i]and[/i] FORWARD requests. http://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/MAGNOLIA-3338 If your filter mappings are correct, then this is, definitely!, a bug.
