For organizational reasons we have created two websites in Magnolia community edition 4.0.1
(1) ProductCatalog (2) CreativeContent The product team maintains the catalog and the creative team maintains the content. Our java code pulls content from both of these trees and displays on the site. Now my issue is that the creative content is dependent upon the content of product catalog. Is there a way I can pull the content of ProductCatalog tree in CretiveContent tree? I was thinking of having a dialog box that will have a dropdown list of product catalog. This dropdown list will be dynamically generated from the content (products) added by added by product team and will be visible to the creative team under CreativeContent tree. Is this a good idea?
