Hi!

To me this question depends on whether you want the page to be cached or not.

If you don't want or need cacheing for this page, the easiest way, IMHO, is to
create a page that is called like:

/mysite/displayperson.html?person=john

And create an appropriate TemplateModel class which:
- provides a method setPerson(String name) to accept the parameter person=john
- and getPersonContent() returning the content from the Data module using the
parameter...

Regards from Vienna,

Richard

Betreff: [magnolia-user] Best way to use data (module) contents to render a page

Hi,

if you have some contents in the data module, for example articles or people or
something else, what is the best approach to make each content render in a page?

e.g. I want a page called by a URL www.xxxx.com/people/john.html to be rendered
with the contents of john's data.

Filter? Servlet? or other?

Thanks
