Thanks for your replies!! Weird.. none of the queries return anything for me, even after rebuilding indexes. and yep, I did set it to xpath :). I do not use the stk at the moment, just a plain article. In the xml export the mngl:template of the content is set nicely to article.
I also had issues querying on jcr:primaryType... Could it be the semi-column in combination with the versions I use?
