Anybody has an idea here!? Got a demo tomorrow so any help is welcome.
My only idea is that there is a permission problem in the public instance. Maybe you changed the read permission for the anonymous user and/or your query is searching in repositories that have no anonymous access. Or maybe your indexes are broken on public instance and you may have to regenerate them. Have you tried to deactivate and republish the entire website?
