Hello guys!
I have to optimise a web-site base on magnolia.So far google-analytics says
that css styles are not used fully. As I understand magnolia uploads all css
files(styles.css,wide.css,small.css etc.) and obviously uses only part of it.
It makes site heavier. Maybe someone know some optimisation tricks to make css
files smaller?
Hi Natalia,
by default, STK lets you to upload all your styles to the "theme".
But it is not mandatory.
You can "attach" a style/js to a template (definition), adding nodes in
this way:
- template1
- mainArea
- ...
- cssFiles
- customCss
- link: pat/to/your/custom/css
- customCss2
- link: pat/to/your/custom/css2
- jsFiles
- customJs
- link: pat/to/your/custom/js
- customJs2
- link: pat/to/your/custom/js2
This is a out-of-the-box option.
If you need more granularity, you can, with a little development, add
page based or paragraph based CSS/JS.
HTH!
Matteo
