I am getting the following error on CentOS linux, Java 1.5, Tomcat 5.5: javax.xml.transform.TransformerFactoryConfigurationError: Provider org.apache.xalan.transformer.TransformerImpl could not be instantiated: java.lang.InstantiationException: org.apache.xalan.transformer.TransformerImpl
info.magnolia.cms.beans.config.ContentRepository : Failed to initialize hierarchy manager for JCR magnolia javax.jcr.NoSuchWorkspaceException: dms I've looked on the foums and in the wiki and it seems many people used to have a problem with xalan, "TransformerFactoryImpl not found". But that's not my case. Could this be a classpath issue? Perhaps xalan is somewhere else besides in the magnolia instance WEB-INF/lib folder? (xalan-2.6.0.jar) As soon as I saw the infamous "NoSuchWorkspaceException: dms" I thought I was back to zero. I've been trying to get Magnolia installed on this machine for weeks and had loads of problems with this error. But now I have ulimit permanently set to 400000 for all users and my oralce processes, sessions and transactions also set very high.
