Absolutely. That's why the page exist. When you execute the exercises described there, it takes you through defining new field for your dialog, setting its value and rendering the property using the template. That was the gist of your question above. Or are you saying that after executing that exercise you still do not understand how to add a field to a dialog and how to render it? If so, could you please elaborate in more details what exactly it is you don't understand so that documentation can be made more clear for the next person using it?
