Hi Dan, Normally, you don't need to stop/start the server when importing. When importing a lot of stuff, I have found it is sometimes helpful to stop the server, clear the cache, and restart.
The error about the repository below you normally only get when accessing a repository that is already in use (did you start the server twice?). One error I'm noticing is : Unable to initialize repository: The repository home /Applications/magnolia-4.4.5/apache-tomcat-6.0.32/webapps/magnoliaAuthor/repositories/magnolia appears to be in use since the file named .lock is locked by another process. javax.jcr.RepositoryException: The repository home /Applications/magnolia-4.4.5/apache-tomcat-6.0.32/webapps/magnoliaAuthor/repositories/magnolia appears to be in use since the file named .lock is locked by another process. -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=dd026b06-0ccc-46c9-ade5-986f5a15ab2d ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
