[b]OVERVIEW:[/b] We updated the 'workspace.xml' and 'indexing_configuration.xml' files to allow phrases to display in the tag-cloud module. It was later found that the db reference in 'workspace.xml' was wrong and caused the site to revert back to a previous state (at least 1 month of content changes appeared to be "lost.")
We updated 'workspace.xml' with the proper db settings and this corrected the "lost" data issue, however, we are now experiencing another issue, most likely directly related to this. We also completely removed the 'indexing_configuration.xml' file from the server just in case, but this has not made any difference (as far as we can tell.) [b]WHAT WE DID:[/b] workspace.xml replaced the existing file. The configuration file, for the author instance, is located in magnolia-4.4.4/apache-tomcat-6.0.32/webapps/magnoliaAuthor/repositories/magnolia/workspaces/website/workspace.xml where magnolia-4.4.4 is the magnolia root folder. indexing_configuration.xml was placed in the same "website" folder with "workspace.xml" magnolia-4.4.4/apache-tomcat-6.0.32/webapps/magnoliaAuthor/repositories/magnolia/workspaces/website/ where magnolia-4.4.4 is the magnolia root folder. [b]THE CURRENT ISSUE:[/b] We are no longer able to edit one of the paragraphs in author. We think that the original 'workspace.xml' possibly broke the Index file. Should the Index folder be deleted and rebuilt (on restart?) Will this cause any content to be lost that has been added to the cms? I'm unsure of how many files 'worspace.xml' could have affected so I don't know the best way to approach investigating this error.
