OK I'm getting frustrated. The docs make this sound simple. To make sure it
wasn't my tomcat config I have gone out and downloaded
magnolia-tomcat-bundle-4.4.2-tomcat-bundle.zip. I then followed the directions
installing the following jars in
magnolia-4.4.2\apache-tomcat-6.0.29\webapps\magnoliaAuthor\WEB-INF\lib:
magnolia-module-standard-templating-kit-1.4.2.jar (and all of the dependent
jars)
magnolia-module-resources-1.4.jar
magnolia-module-dms-1.5.1.jar
magnolia-module-data-1.6.1.jar
magnolia-module-form-1.3.1.jar (replacing the previous version)
magnolia-module-ocm-1.0.jar
jackrabbit-ocm-1.5.3.jar
Then I follow the following 3 steps:
1.)Stop Magnolia CMS.
2.)Add the Shop module .jar file and any dependent modules that you don't
have yet to WEB-INF/lib folder on all instances.
3.)Start Magnolia CMS and run the Web update.
And I still get the NPE. Am I missing steps? I will find it hard to believe
if these steps work for anyone without additional configuration or steps. I
have tried this on windows and linux with other versions and always get the
same error. Can someone please confirm before I loose my sanity that the steps
I listed actually work?
