My last try was very close then. With 2 differences:

1. I did not add "and all the modules you extend" though ;-) 
What exactly do you mean by this? The modules which contain the template 
definitions that my module is extending? That would be stk. Do I still have to 
add it? 

2. Then I did not add a site definition. Since this is on CE there is no "named 
site definition" and I was expecting that you have to provide the site name 
here. But apparently it's the path to the site definition which of course is 
/modules/standard-templating-kit/config/site.
