just for the record: I had the same problem. All dialogs were registered correctly and I payed attention to Nataschas hints but received that ugly Tomcat 500 Error when it came to render the dialog. The problem was that I imported those content nodes via [b]XML import[/b] which is [b]apparently not working[/b]. The solution was that I deleted these imported dialogs and created them manually exactly the way they've been before...very odd but helpful...
