Hi Jan, I already did the templating tutorial and I can see that it would be easy to write a template which would allow use of the fckEditor based on the tutorial.
Perhaps I am on the wrong track so maybe I can explain briefly what I am trying to do. I am trying to create a website for what is currently a 2 person company I am trying to start up. I am a java expert and am quite familiar with Tomcat and JSPs and I would like to have some JSP content based on some java code on my site. Magnolia seems much better than the other alternatives I investigated for this so thank you for providing Magnolia :-)! But as I am not interested in providing my own theme, etc. I was hoping to get my site up quickly by just modifying some of the demo pages you provide. Also I thought that it would be better to use areas based on the STK rather than just writing my own from scratch. But creating a control allowing the use of the fckEditor within the demo/STK context seems quite difficult. I am currently trying to create a template which maybe mostly uses the "demo" navigation and headers/footers but allows me to use the fckEditor to put in some content. But I don't see for example, how to create an area using the generic/controls/text dialog from the STK. Would you recommend a different approach?
