Hi Jyotsna, Ok, that's odd. From your description, it sounds like you did the right thing:
Twice, once for author and once for public webapp: 1. In the file WEB-INF/config/default/magnolia.properties, set the "magnolia.repositories.jackrabbit.config" property to point to your jackrabbit configuration file. 2. In your Jackrabbit configuration file, configure the database settings. Note: The default mysql configuration file contains the database settings twice, once for the workspace persistence-manager, and once for the versioning configuration. Restart Tomcat and magnolia should connect to the configured database... I changed the configuration files under both the webapps now and tried to start magnolia> I am still getting the same exception. Its trying to connect to the mysql installed locally. I changed the jackrabbit config files, updated the magnolia.properties under default and placed the mysql jar file in the lib directory. Is there anything else that I should be doing?
