Hi Marco, You say
What does not work, that you change an inherited paragraph on a deeper level just giving a different text or image, then you need to remove the inherited and add another paragraph with your content as needed
I think this is similar to the use case we have (see: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=2afd762a-5d05-4fe0-bfbd-ae15327d8ab2&page=1). In our case we want to define a single (not list) footer area (Magnolia 4.5) which is inherited by all child pages. BUT on a deeper level it must be possible to overwrite the footer. I.e. /home/level2/level3/somepage Home defines the global footer but for example on level3 a new footer is defined which overrides the global footer. On this and deeper level pages (like somepage) this second footer is shown instead of the global one. We had this working on Magnolia version 3.6 using the inheritedParagraphs JSP that was part of the Sitedesigner module but so far have failed to find this functionality in Magnolia 4.5. Any help is appreciated. -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=d8cd85c1-0a2f-4ef8-8949-8d3b70d32886 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <> ----------------------------------------------------------------
