Hi Wiski, 1. Have you changed the subscriber configuration on your author instance to point to your new public instance? (Menu Configuration --> Subscribers )
2. To make sure your public instance remains a public instance after renaming, take a look in WEB-INF/config/ . Here you will find a folder called "magnoliaPublic". Rename this folder to whatever you renamed your public context to. Or else take a look in the "magnolia.properties" file in this folder, and transfer the values there into the file WEB-INF/config/default/magnolia.properties.
