Hi, I made an attempt to migrate the magnolia-solr-module module to the latest Solr stable version (currently 3.6.x) and latest Magnolia stable version 4.5.x. Honestly I did not have the time to test it but you could give it a try and replace solr 3.6 with 4.0-alpha. Here is the link to svn http://svn.magnolia-cms.com/view/forge/magnolia-module-solr/branches/magnolia-module-solr-3.x/ My main concern is about the different versions of Lucene and related deps brought in by Solr, the latter using Lucene 3.6 whilst Jackrabbit 2.4 uses Lucene 3.0.x which I am afraid would cause troubles. But, again, I did not carry out any serious tests.
