@Andrew: I don't think you have same problem. In your case (as per other thread where you replied) your exception clearly says that public instance doesn't exist. Here it exists, but can't be properly authenticated.
@ João: Yes it is possible. I've seen this kind of configurations on server boxes used as public webservers. The only address it allows you to access with is the one with valid domain name assigned to the IP address of the server. Try to reconfigure your subscriber to use the valid domain name or public IP address (not the loopback, no localhost, no 127.0.0.1) and let us know if that worked. Thx.
