Dear Magnolians, It seem that Resource files with dots in their name in combination with the farFutureCaching feature cause "not found" errors.
I suspect that the parcing of the link with .timestamp.cache goes wrong on the extra dots. We're using filenames like jquery-1.7.1 , core.module.controller.js and also the resulting minified file for production (generated by the Maven Minify plugin) has a name like jscript.min.js Instead of rewriting the filenames, and adding an extra suffix property in Maven, is there maybe a configuration setting to go around this? Searching JIRA I fond some related issues with dots, but it's not clear to me how to handle this at the moment (Magnolia 4.5.3). Or should I report this in JIRA? Thanks!
