Based on 
[url=http://documentation.magnolia-cms.com/modules/imaging.html#DisablingSTKimagingsupport]this[/url]
 I disabled STK Imaging and on the magnoliaAuthor instance (CE 4.5.4) it 
achieve the result I desire.

However, on the magnolia public instances, because the images are displayed 
smaller (like I didn't want) it appears to me as though STK Imaging is still 
enabled.  

However, when I check both magnoliaPublic and magnoliaAuthor configurations 
(Templatating Kit >  Themes / <myTheme>/imaging/enabled ) they are both set to 
'false.'

Shouldn't be a caching issue, but it could still be. 

Anything else I should be (re)considering?
