Have a look at http://demoauthor.magnolia-cms.com for ee demo. Look at how
sites are configured there. You can configure some prop in one site definition
(say default) and then override it in extending site definition.
Under each site definition you can create "properties" subnode and have your
extra parameters stored there and retrieve them as ${site.parameters.myparam}
The extending nodes feature is built in Magnolia and can be used also in other
places not only in site definition.
