What do your apps have to accomplish? Is it pretty much input - output? Then your needs can be covered by what Magnolia has to offer out of the box. The form module and data module will get you pretty far. Write a few custom model classes for your components and templates and you will get very far.
If you need to go even further, you can put your business logic in a servlet if you like. Others like to go the Blossom way. It's open source - you can do what you like! ;-) -will On 06.12.2012, at 17:03, Zsombor Varga (via Magnolia Forums) wrote: > Hi! > > I'm new to Magnolia-CMS. > My task is to create some custom application and place them into a Magnolia > based website. > > The site is built with Magnolia 4.5.6 CE. > What is the best, or easyest way? > > Blossom2.0 and Spring? > Or can i write some simple servlet? > Or I need only custom templates? > > Is there any step-by-step tutorial for this, which will work? > > Thanks for the help! > > -- > Context is everything: > http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=67855dc4-6c52-4813-97e8-03a3f992a788 > > > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html > Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ > To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <> > ---------------------------------------------------------------- > ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <> ----------------------------------------------------------------
