You mean the login for Admin Central? Yeah that indeed does what you want, but 
that is not the same as the login page used for protected areas on public. That 
one is created as simple form and target page where to redirect after login is 
defined directly in form configuration. What you would want is to use 
customized form that sets target page dynamically based on the referrer url.
