Hi Tullio,

We had a similar problem recently...

It turned out that our threads were hanging because they were all waiting on a 
SOAP call for which there was no answer, and no timeout was set.

See if you can figure out where your threads are hanging - you can get the JVM 
to print a thread-stack-trace by sending it a QUIT signal.

% kill -QUIT <pid>

It should then print the thread dump to catalina.out.

Betreff: [magnolia-user] Magnolia 4.4 Randomly hangs.

I've my magnolia installation with blossom.
Sometime after some days of work, Magnolia refuses every connection and the 
only way tom ake it working again is restart Tomcat.
The only indication we have in log is a maximum number of threads exceded.
How can I avod this ?
