Nope, never seen this before. My first guess would be that the end of the alert box showing the message gets html encoded or otherwise broken and so the followup html ends up being treated as part of the message. Do all browsers behave the same? Does it happen for all pages? Does it still happen when you switch your user to use different language for admin interface (afaik this message is localized)? Did you customize alert command in any way? Which version of Magnolia is it?
