Sorry for the delay. In Magnolia 4.5.3 , the synchronization module uses info.magnolia.module.synchronization.SilentSyndicator , after upgrading to 4.5.8 , I started seeing warning messages that this class was missing. I could not find that class in my path at all, the closest thing I found, name-wise was SilentSimpleSyndicator. I could not find the synchronization source at http://git.magnolia-cms.com/gitweb/ , the warning in the log does not cause block the app from starting up and since we don't use synchronization currently, it's not a major issue so far.
