Hi,
That's true, but you can still access your fields by getting access to the DMS
node associated with your document.
Should be something like: ${document.node.fieldname}

Hi Klaus,
i think you can't access your fields because magnolia uses by default this
class to handle dms documents:
http://nexus.magnolia-cms.com/content/sites/magnolia.public.sites/modules/magnolia-module-dms/1.6.7/magnolia-module-dms/apidocs/index.html
so i think you're not working with a node directly but you're using this class
in the template.
