Thank you for the reply. We use our own module to define some custom 
controllers (for blossum), models, and services for the website. We also have 
our own tag library.

I like the idea of using a central repository for right now. I will look into 
doing that. Is it as simple as editing "magnolia.repositories.home" in 
WEB-INF/config/default/magnolia.properties?

I've read that three part series a few times. It's an intriguing set of 
articles, many things I don't understand yet, and some things I'm not sure 
would work well in our office. I get the idea of using a maven archetype to 
create an empty webapp. Where you lose me is how you can possibly be efficient 
in developing by having to edit docroot/templates (the jsp templates) without 
having to stop the server, rebuild another war file, and restarting. Same goes 
for changing magnolia config for dialogs, templates, and paragraphs. Maybe I am 
not understanding something here?
