Im not sure what is going wrong - but here's a few notes that could help: The icons are displayed via a font - so the icons are actually text characters, I wonder if the font file is not loading in the browser correctly? It looks like a different font - that used for the text app names is also not the correct font, it looks like the browser is using a default font - not the one deliverd with magnolia. Those rectangles with the four characters are how the browser displays unicode charachters that are not in the font.
Have you tried loading with other web browsers?
