When kicked out of the admin panel, you can write to the JCR via: 1. Groovy Rescue Servlet as mentioned by Will: http://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/WIKI/Groovy+Rescue+Servlet 2. Use an external JCR browser: http://wiki.apache.org/jackrabbit/JcrLinks#Open_Source_Tools_and_Libraries 3. Bootstrap files: ie. on a separate magnolia instance you export a node with the values you want, then put it in the bootstrap directory & restart tomcat 4. Activate from another instance: ie. from you local instance, add another instance as a target for activation, then activate a node having the values you want
