I thought that since Blossom doesn't use RequestMappingHandlerAdapter yet then it wasn't possible to use the flash map functionality. I see now that DispatcherServlet contains the important code that grabs the input flash attributes from the session and puts them on the request. I've started by using the simple explicit setting and getting in the controller, with a slight change in that I just add all the flash map attributes to the spring model in the controller and then output the message in my view if the model attribute exists i.e. in the controller: [code]m.addAllAttributes(RequestContextUtils.getInputFlashMap(request));[/code] Thanks again, Peter.
