Sorry, yes, I didn't answer that one...

I think the problem *could* be solved by writing your own app, or by extending 
the existing dam app.

I think while it would not be a big change, it isn't exactly a small task 
either. An experienced Java developer who knows Magnolia, Vaadin and 
Magnolia-app-development could probably ship a working solution in a week. 
Someone who has to learn the skills as they implement will probably need 
considerably longer.

However, I think this is general functionality that most users would want and 
benefit from. Hence I think this is something magnolia should do "out of the 
box", and I am trying to convince magnolia to get this feature into the main 
product.
