Hi Gavan, Besides the exercises for the migration, i tried before to create maven projects and download the CE dependencies, all worked fine, so i guess my maven is correctly set.
the for exercises to migrate from 4.4 to 4.5 I tried both settings for the maven repo (settings.xml), first the CE and then the EE. I set a username and password for the enterprise calling this " mvn org.sonatype.plugins:nexus-maven-plugin:1.9.2.4:settings-download -Dnexus.url=http://nexus.magnolia-cms.com -Dsettings.templateId=magnolia-enterprise" and the build was successful. Only when I make a mvn install, is when i get the access denied for magnolia-enterprise-webapp. At nexus i can see only the forge and the public repositories.. Did I understand your question correctly so far? Thanks!
