Hi guys, this worked for me My steps:
0) I cleaned $(magnolia.home) directory (directory set in magnolia.properties file). 1) I put my jackrabbit-(oracle/derby/etc..)-search.xml file inside \bin\WEB-INF\config\repo-conf of the backup module. (I think this is not mentioned in the wiki, but it's really important!!) 2) I took a backup of an empty Magnolia instance configured with Oracle database just to have the repoConfig.zip file to use in the restore procedure. 3) inside my Derby backup I substituted the repoConfig.zip file, with the Oracle one got in step 2). In the wiki, you say "Change the persistence manager configuration in each file.", like you have to "merge" configurations...I just simply substituted them. 4) dropped Oracle schema of my magnolia instance and created an empty new one. 5) ran restore script: the scripts recreates all magnolia tables with derby backup data. 6) before restarting magnolia, deleted all "indexes" folders.
