So here i am. I am so happy that i could read about your company and what magnolia could do for me. As i am unemployed right now, or better to say too small employed, i am working on something, i have imagined of for a long long time, where we even didn't had Web 2.0. I formly stumbled over magnolia out of nothing, since there my concept was clear going to make up a spring web application, which should hand over an html5 client, that is capable of being used in many ways. Before this, i had to write a homepage for a friend of mine. She's a dog trainer. It cost me about 40 hours to learn html5 an make up the raw template of her new human-dog-trainers-homepage. I thought of what to use... Should i give her a Joomla or sth. like this ?!? She wouldn't need all that stuff. But we had some features in it, as you might watch yourself here: http://silvis-hundeschule.de/ Any page has its unique background and some fitting colour scheme to make up its beauty. the teasers wanted to be changed sometimes, so the background and colourscheme did too, if she could make some ne original snapshots from her work outside. The texts needed to be updated very frequently. I chose a Zend Framework, knowing that it would give me most flexibility on getting on it, but even nothing usability to her, so i had to do all the things, pushing pixels, resizing all that images to its needs, i even made that black stripes in the background inside the image, as you might see. Puh that went me on my nerves ...
To come end this tale. I have made a new client, which is not all ready now, but it's usable ! Everything i could think of works. Watch here: http://silvis-huschu.rhcloud.com/home.html Inside the apps page, i can insert an image as background, add via richText css which i generate here: http://www.colorzilla.com/gradient-editor/ to get this fantastic gradient style i have multiple teasers, all unique. The texts can show up in column style 2-columned or 3-columned, it's about to be done very soon and i started this about 3 days ago. Btw. The magnolia page even uses a complete different layout i also use in my other project, which originally looks like this: http://themes.alessioatzeni.com/html/brushed/ This also gives me some handy exchange possibilities. :) What i still wanted to know is: Can i use richText to make something like this page ? http://silvis-hundeschule.de/ich i know how to store assets, but i can only find capability to add it as a link. And if i follow the RichText section inside the documents i must say: my richText is stored inside different location under textArea, not richText and i cannot add something like: images - true Thx, for listening !!! -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=a6b18ce0-65f9-49b6-b86e-9e841dd379c7 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
