Hi Yves, First, the screenshot you show is the global fieldType configuration for the rich text field. It's essentially just a mapping between a field definition class and a field factory class — nothing to configure there. You need a form definition inside either a dialog, or a detail subapp; then you can configure your fields there. I also attached a little config screenshot I just made on public demo (path /modules/contacts/apps/contacts/subApps/detail/editor/form/tabs/address/fields).

When you click it you can enter a link to an image, or click the 'Browse server' button, which will open a choose dialog to pick an image/asset from the Dam. In all cases, only a link to that image is stored in the richTextField value. In the case of assets, the link is stored as a 'key' that will be translated into the actual URL when being served to the browser.
