Hi Nikola, Currently, I don't think this is possible. I don't think you can define an ACL for a property, only for entire nodes.
You could solve this kind of requirement in the UI: by configuring the "availability" of the "Change Template" action you can effectively prevent certain roles from modifying the templates of existing pages, simply because they don't see the controls to do so. You could just assume your editors aren't going to "hack" into the system to find a way to modify the jcr content directly - that isn't real security, but could be "good enough" considering that the users are authenticated (i.e. identified). In my knowledge, while defining an ACL, the Write option means that the user is able to change specific page content and also it's properties. -- Regards, Nikola. -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=1616538e-b8be-451d-9caf-918647a995d0 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
