Hey Andreas,

There is currently no classpath scanning in Magnolia, so you'll need to 
register your provider in a module descriptor, with something along the lines 
of 
[code]
   <component>
      <type>...</type>
      <provider>...</provider>
      <scope>singleton</scope>
    </component>[/code]
... which leads me to my second point. I'm not sure binding annotations work 
(never tried myself); @Named works, but I'm still not sure what you'd pass in 
for <type> in this case. (perhaps set it to the same type as your provider's). 
A <configurer> might help further. For details, refer to
