I have a question on this topic, i currently have a similar problem.
I have written a content-app, there is a workspace "product-features" and one
feature has some textfields as well as a field "icon" of the class
"DamUploadFieldDefinition".
I can render the fields of this product-feature with a freemarker-template
(using blossom).
But I can't get the icon to display. I am using ${cmsfn.link(feature.icon)} and
this gives me "/magnolia-webapp/feature-name/icon", but there is no image
behind this url. Anyone has a clue, what I am doing wrong?
