Are you talking about http://jira.magnolia-cms.com/browse/MGNLRES-60 ? In our case our frontend developers are using the Jetty Maven plugin, so the current working directory is the directory where Maven is run. Relative paths will always be relative to the current working directory. What would you have expected?
