Hi Nils Problem = PEPCAK! My colleague added a virtual uri mapping which unfortunately also matched a branch in the DMS. So the documents appeared in the tree, but when you tried to download them, the redirect kicked in and took the request to the digital no man's land, hence the 404 :-(
