Hi, If there were no blobs in the datastore I guess it should be fine...
But for a repo already containing data, yes, I think export/reconfigure/import is the way to go. For a cluster I would also be careful to shut down all the nodes but one, do the export there, then delete all the existing repos (with their cluster logs, etc..) and recreate everything from scratch on the one node. Then the other nodes can join the cluster and recreate their side of things. And after that (especially if it was a big repo) it would make sense to reset the journals... Luckily there is a faster way :-) : http://blog.liip.ch/archive/2011/05/10/add-new-instances-to-your-jackrabbit-cluster-the-non-time-consuming-way.html Regards from Vienna, Richard ________________________________________ Von: []" im Auftrag von "Will Scheidegger (via Magnolia Forums) [] Gesendet: Dienstag, 29.
A different question is whether the state is currently consistent (if you just changed the datastore without resetting the entire repository).
That's exactly what worries me a bit as well. So far I do not have blobs in that clustered repo. So I guess/hope that I should be fine. But you think exporting the data, clearing out the repo, reconfiguring it and then re-importing the data would be the way to go then? -will -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=df35c1e9-5d35-4ba5-b60e-8f0cbadf932e ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <> ---------------------------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <> ----------------------------------------------------------------
