Hi Daniele,
I am developing a multi language website, therefore for each page I have a version for all the different languages that I support, but I have just realised that the page title should change as well
Are you using Magnolia's multilanguage feature [1]? It allows you to store all language variants under a single page node. It simplifies the site structure a great deal. Page title is considered content so it is a translatable property. Your German page can have a different title from your French page. Each language specific title is stored under the page node in the JCR like this:
news - title = News - title_de = Nachrichten - title_fr = Actualités
If you also want to translate the page name, which is the name of the page node in JCR level, you may need to look at creating separate pages for each language.
