Aha, I also noticed that the comment reply link was not working. In our case I thought it might be because we have customised the commenting functionality quite a bit but now that I read this I strongly suspect that it is just a bug in the Magnolia Commenting Module? I will raise a support request with Magnolia for this issue and hopefully this will result in a JIRA issue in the commenting module which will be fixed by Magnolia.
