Hello I am fairly new to Magnolia CMS, so recently I have been familiarizing myself with the system using the Magnolia-Academy and there I ran into a problem. As described in Stream 1 C1 M3 U2 I have set up a Maven project and integrated it into Eclipse. Everything has worked fine and I have been able to start a Magnolia Instance from the Tomcat-Server I have set up in Eclipse, but now, whenever I try to delete content nodes that I no longer need, I run into an error and even on the internet I can’t find a working solution to this problem. The content nodes are nothing important of course, not system-relevant or anything. The Problem basically arises when I work on the site structure or the configuration, basically any taks that takes place in the browser subapps, I can just create items, but when I try to delete them I run into an error.
This is the error message I get when I try to delete content nodes, folders or properties Deletion has failed. /modules/myTemplateModule/templates/pages@untitled: info.magnolia.cms.exchange.ExchangeException: 1 error detected: Not able to send the deactivation request [http://localhost:8080/magnoliaPublic/.magnolia/activation]: http://localhost:8080/magnoliaPublic/.magnolia/activation The Problem itself seems to be pretty clear, though I am quite at a loss as to how to solve it. As far as I can tell from the configuration there is a public instance configured as subscriber under the address specified in the error message, so I am not really certain how to proceed here or even what the actual, precise problem is. -- Context is everything: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/forum/thread.html?threadId=ed5712fd-4b84-4b77-8072-7382546b20c4 ---------------------------------------------------------------- For list details, see http://www.magnolia-cms.com/community/mailing-lists.html Alternatively, use our forums: http://forum.magnolia-cms.com/ To unsubscribe, E-mail to: <[email protected]> ----------------------------------------------------------------
